Alice works with adults and adolescents over the age of 14 who are seeking assistance related to anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity and self-esteem, and life transitions including career and relationship difficulties. She also works with those experiencing suicidal ideation, mood disorders, or psychosis.
You can expect therapy with Alice to be compassionate and affirming with an approach that is rooted in relational and attachment-based frameworks. She uses modalities designed to support healing with curiosity, insights, and calm.
She believes in an integrative approach, tailoring treatment based on each individual’s needs. She draws from multiple therapeutic modalities including; Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Experiencing. She also incorporates tools and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as needed. She has trained with the ____ .
Alice has experience working in many different levels of care, and with individuals struggling with a wide spectrum of mental health diagnoses while working at the Collin County mental health provider, at an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) of a mental health hospital, and in private practice. While Complex PTSD and its related symptoms are her specialty, she likes working with a variety of issues.
Outside the office Alice enjoys spending time with her partner, fur babies, adult kids, and friends, connecting with nature, making art and building things in her studio/workshop, and doing new things – Burning Man and visiting an elephant orphanage are on her bucket list. She is excited to get to know you, learnĀ your story and help guide you towards the life you’ve always wanted to have and deserve.
